What people pay, what changes the price, and how to compare quotes.
Prices below come from Angi's 2026 epoxy flooring cost guide. Your quotes will depend on your floor and where you live.
Angi puts the national average at $2,526, with most homeowners paying $1,650 to $3,494. Professional installation runs $2 to $12 per square foot including materials and labor.
| Garage | Approx. sq ft | Price range |
|---|---|---|
| One-car garage | 250 | $750–$3,000 |
| Two-car garage | 500 | $1,500–$6,000 |
| Three-car garage | 750 | $2,250–$9,000 |
| Resin | Material cost per gallon |
|---|---|
| Water-based | $30–$50 |
| Solvent-based | $40–$55 |
| Solid | $45–$150 |
| Rock and pebble | $100 |
Water-based products are cheaper and easier to apply but wear out sooner. Solid epoxy is the toughest and the hardest to install, which is one reason most people hire it out.
Angi says labor is 33% to 60% of the total, at about $1 to $7 per square foot or $50 to $150 an hour. Most companies send a two-person crew.
Patios, steps and other small surfaces usually cost more per square foot than a garage, since setup and labor don't shrink with the area. Outdoor jobs also need UV-stable products. Get a quote for your exact space.
